Job summary

California Bioenergy OPCO, a leading developer of dairy digester projects, is seeking a Fleet and Training Manager in Tulare, CA. The role focuses on managing the fleet, developing training programs, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across California.

The position reports to the Sr. Director HSS&E and collaborates with contractors and external service partners. A strong background in fleet maintenance, training, and regulatory compliance is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, transportation, fleet management, engineering, or related field.
• Five (5)+ years of fleet management, equipment maintenance, transportation, or industrial operations experience.
• Three (3)+ years of leadership experience.
• Valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage company-owned vehicles, trailers, heavy equipment, and support assets.
• Develop and implement fleet management strategies to maximize availability and reliability.
• Monitor vehicle utilization and identify efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate vehicle assignments and fleet scheduling with operations.
• Maintain fleet asset records and equipment histories.
• Oversee compliance training including safety, health, environmental, and fleet operations.
• Support regulatory and environmental compliance activities and permit management.
• Coordinate fleet maintenance and vendor performance across locations.
