Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking a Senior Specialist, Fleet Learning and Governance to support shipboard training governance and the effective execution of Learning & Development programs. The role collaborates with Fleet L&D, Learning Systems, and business stakeholders to ensure governance standards are understood, applied, and executable within shipboard operations.

Ideal candidates will have shipboard L&D experience, strong knowledge of training operations and compliance, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Education, Business Administration, HR, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Planner to track work and synthesize information
• Working knowledge of SharePoint or similar knowledge management platforms
• Working knowledge of shipboard learning and people systems (GLADIS LMS, CPS or similar)
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple systems for training readiness and compliance reviews

Responsibilities

• Support shipboard training governance implementation and stakeholder engagement.
• Maintain governance documentation, standards, and reference materials.
• Assist with audits, certifications, and governance remediation actions.
• Support LMS configuration validation and reporting logic for training requirements.
• Analyze data to inform governance decisions and track dependencies and issues.
• Collaborate with Fleet L&D, Learning Systems, and training owners to ensure executability of requirements.
