Job summary

City of Baltimore is seeking a Fleet Automotive Training & Development Manager to design and manage a comprehensive training program for 5,000+ vehicles across 27+ agencies. You will lead the Fleet Academy, partner with OEMs, and implement curricula that improve safety and efficiency.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of related experience, with a focus on automotive maintenance and training innovation, including EV and telematics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of experience in technical, administrative, professional or project management work and automotive maintenance.
• Provisional driver’s licenses are not acceptable and upload of license is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive fleet training program and curriculum.
• Collaborate with OEMs to deliver hands-on and virtual training sessions.
• Lead safety training initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Track training effectiveness using data and metrics.
