Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or related field with ten years of progressively increasing responsibilities, including four years of supervisory experience.
• Eight years of senior management experience in fleet management or comparable large-scale operations, including at least four years managing diverse functions through subordinate supervisors.
• Proven track record with multimillion-dollar budgets, contract negotiations, and large technical workforces.
• Licenses, Registrations and Certificates: Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver's license or equivalent; eligibility for Baltimore City driver permit.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for Baltimore City’s fleet operations.
• Direct and integrate three Deputy Chiefs for Operations, Administration, and Support Services.
• Set policies, performance metrics, and standards to ensure safety, efficiency, and service quality.
• Oversee maintenance, fueling, procurement, and facilities across multiple fleet sites.
• Oversee fuel operations, including procurement and storage of around 3 million gallons annually.
