Job summary

Qualifications

• Current holder of an interstate (Class A) CDL with HazMat endorsement or will obtain within 120 days of hire.
• 3 years’ experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 7 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
• No DUI/DWI/OUI or reckless driving within the last 10 years.
• No preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the last 10 years.
• No preventable accident resulting in fatality or catastrophic injury in driving history.
• Preferred: 250,000 miles over-the-road tractor/trailer experience; training or facilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in content teach-backs and co-facilitation of training content for Driver Trainees with senior leaders.
• Provides feedback to participants in the Driver Trainee program and Fleet Development leadership.
• Supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships with stakeholders and monitoring results.
• Conducts facilitation audits on Fleet Development roles and ensures One Best Way compliance.
• Delivers classroom and virtual training to Driver Trainees and regional centers.
• Educates associates on change initiatives through classroom training and virtual delivery.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, and mentoring.
