J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. in South Gate, CA is seeking a Fleet Trailer Refrigeration Mechanic to perform maintenance, service, and repair of dry vans, refrigerated trailers, and chassis.

You will troubleshoot issues, complete fleet maintenance processes, and ensure units meet company specifications. The role may involve nights, weekends, outdoors, and overtime. Required 1–2 years of semi-trailer maintenance experience, EPA 608 Tech 2, and DOT/FHWA inspections familiarity.

Formación

• 18+ with 1–2 years of semi-trailer maintenance experience or equivalent.
• EPA section 608 certification Tech 2.
• DOT and FHWA inspections experience.
• Ability to work outdoors, nights/weekends if needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform standard maintenance and repairs on trailers, chassis, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair specialized trailer equipment and air brake systems.
• Adhere to shop safety procedures and complete work orders on time.
• Maintain communication with team and customers.
• Understand and follow standard repair times and warranty guidelines.
