Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: 18+ years old with 1–2 years of semi-trailer maintenance/repair or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate standard knowledge of preventative maintenance, replacement of parts/components, and more difficult repairs on specialized trailer maintenance, air brake systems, and FHWA inspections
• Troubleshoot and repair specialized trailer equipment; work independently and seek assistance as needed
• Participate in OE training for repairs
• Follow shop safety procedures and maintain professional communication with JB Hunt personnel and customers
• Accurately perform repairs to specifications; complete work orders and adhere to standard repair times and warranty guidelines
• Perform standard preventive maintenance tasks including tire replacements, brake services, electrical diagnostics, and basic structural repairs
• Use cutting torch and welding equipment for minor repairs on chassis and related components
