Job summary

Grocers Supply in Houston, TX is hiring a Tire Technician to maintain and repair tires on company vehicles, perform fleet checks, and wash trucks and trailers. This is a 2nd shift role. The position requires tire removal/install experience, safety consciousness, and teamwork.

Expect to rotate tires, balance and replace components, inspect wheel parts, drive service trucks for road calls, and ensure clean, safe operation of our fleet. Safety and reliability are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some professional tire removal/install experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Rotate tires to different positions on various vehicles and equipment.
• Repair and replace tires, tubes, rims, wheels and related components.
• Inspect rims, hubs, studs, and lug nuts for wear or damage.
• Drive service trucks to perform road calls.
• Clean trailers when needed for repair work.
• Follow safety protocols at all times.
