Job summary

GSC Wholesale LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Fleet Tire Technician (DOT) to maintain and repair tires on company vehicles, perform fleet checks, and assist with washing trucks and trailers. The role requires 1–2 years of tire experience and a 2nd shift schedule.

You will rotate tires, mount/dismount, inspect wheels, drive service trucks for road calls, and uphold safety protocols in a warehouse environment across refrigerated and ambient spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some tire removal/installation experience preferred.
• KPI, Safety & Sanitation awareness.

Responsibilities

• Rotate tires to different positions of various automobiles, trucks, and equipment.
• Repair and replace tires, tubes, rims, wheels, and other tire-related components; includes mounting/dismounting.
• Inspect rims, hubs, studs, and lug nuts for wear, cracks or misalignment.
• Drive service trucks to perform road calls.
• Clean trailer exterior and interior when necessary for repair work.
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and other maintenance.
• Follow all safety protocols in the shop.

You will also perform routine fleet checks and communicate any findings accordingly.
