Job summary

BestDrive is seeking a Tire Service Technician to service Commercial Vehicle and Medium Truck tires. You will mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires and service wheels for off-the-road equipment and trucks.

You may also perform emergency road service on a rotating basis and maintain your service vehicle. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and clear communication with customers and management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Mount/Dismount/Install tires & tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load/Unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair Tires.
• Follow established procedures to inspect tires and wheels before and after service.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors.
• Document work performed accurately and per company policy.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools.
• Unbolt and re-bolt wheels from/to equipment.
• Mount and dismount off-the-road tires (multi-piece rims).
• Perform emergency road service calls nights/weekends on a rotating basis.
• Maintain assigned service vehicle and equipment.
• Comply with OSHA safety requirements.
