Job summary

Continental, via BestDrive, seeks a Tire Service Technician to dismount, mount, balance, and repair tires for Commercial Vehicle and Medium Truck fleets. You will handle off-the-road tire services and related duties as assigned, including emergency calls on nights/weekends, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The role requires physical work, ability to lift heavy tires, and adherence to OSHA guidelines. Join a team-serving multi-location network offering a sign-on bonus program.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Fast-paced, customer-service oriented environment.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Mount/Dismount/Install tires & tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load/Unload tires on and off trucks.
• Inspect tires and wheels before and after service.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Review work orders with supervisors.
• Document work performed per policy.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment.
• Unbolt and re-bolt wheels.
• Mount/dismount off-the-road tires incl. complex rims.
• Perform emergency road service calls nights/weekends.
• Maintain service vehicle and equipment.
• Comply with OSHA regulations.
