Job summary

PepsiCo in Jonesboro, AR is seeking a licensed fleet mechanic to maintain and repair our delivery trucks. The role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with more complex repairs alongside veteran technicians. CDL is required to return vehicles to the traffic center.

Shift can be 8–12 hours with occasional weekend work. We offer on-the-job training, a fast-paced environment, competitive pay of $30.87 per hour, and health and lifestyle benefits

Qualifications

• You must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• You may be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift.
• You have a valid D10K Certification.
• Your driver's license has not been suspended or revoked in connection with a moving violation within the past three (3) years.
• You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You are able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You have the ability to work in tight spaces for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You will be required to work on/under trucks for an entire shift (8 to 12 hours) with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, including diagnosing mechanical issues and completing preventative maintenance.
• Work alongside experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required).
• Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems.
• Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor.
