Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Dayville, CT is hiring a full-time fleet maintenance mechanic for a night shift from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. The role involves maintaining and repairing a fleet of trucks, diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and managing parts and labor on work orders.

You will work with seated and on‑truck tasks, handling brakes, driveline, steering, and engine components. Strong physical ability and a valid license are required; weekend availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more and work in tight spaces.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays and on/under trucks for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles to ensure drivers stay on the road.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete preventative maintenance.
• Manage parts inventory and document labor on work orders.
• Perform scheduled inspections and urgent repairs on multiple truck platforms.
