Job summary

PepsiCo in Massillon, OH is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair fleet vehicles and perform preventative maintenance on a full-time basis. The role requires diagnosing mechanical issues, working with experienced mechanics, and returning vehicles to the traffic center as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• May work weekends/holidays or off shift.
• Valid CDL Class B License.
• Driver's license not suspended/revoked for moving violations in last 3 years.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more with/without accommodation.
• Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
• Able to work in tight spaces for extended periods.
• Must work on/under trucks for an 8–12 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues and performing preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with experienced mechanics on complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required).
• Manage parts inventory and accurately bill parts and labor to work orders.
• Build relationships with vendors for estimates on parts or outside labor.

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles to keep drivers safe and on the road delivering beloved brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos. Your technical skill and preventative work ensure vehicles are reliable and communities stay stocked.

What You’ll Do
