Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a full-time Fleet Technician in Fayetteville, TN to maintain and repair our fleet, diagnosing mechanical issues and performing preventive maintenance. You will work with seasoned mechanics on more complex repairs while ensuring vehicles are safe and on the road.

This role requires CDL, lifting up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work evenings or weekends. On-the-job training and opportunities for growth are offered by the company.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and off-shifts.
• Able to work in tight spaces and under trucks for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnosing issues and performing preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with experienced mechanics on complex repairs.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center (CDL required).
• Manage parts inventory and bill parts/labor to work orders.
• Coordinate with vendors for estimates on parts or outside labor.

Job description

Location: 101 Industrial Blvd, FAYETTEVILLE, TN Quick Look Pay: $30.24 per hour Location: 101 Industrial Blvd, FAYETTEVILLE TN Schedule: Tues-Sat, 10p - 6:30a Sign on bonus: $5,000 USD.

Minimum Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years of age or older
• You may be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift
• You have a valid Driver's License and Personal Vehicle
• Your driver's license has not been suspended or revoked in connection with a moving violation within the past three (3) years
• You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You have the ability to work in tight spaces for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You will be required to work on/under trucks for an entire shift (8 to 12 hours) with or without a reasonable accommodation

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles to keep drivers safe and on the road delivering beloved brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos. Your technical skill and preventative work ensure vehicles are reliable and communities stay stocked.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, including diagnosing mechanical issues and completing preventative maintenance
• Work alongside experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required)
• Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems
• Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor
