Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a fleet mechanic in Rosenberg, TX to maintain and repair company vehicles used to deliver Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos. The role requires CDL A/B, physical ability to handle heavy lifting, and the capacity to work full shifts (8–12 hours) in a fast-paced environment.

Expect hands-on training, teamwork with veteran technicians, and a strong safety culture. The position is full-time and on-site, with competitive hourly pay and benefits as part of a busy logistics operation.

Qualifications

• You are at least 21 years of age or older.
• You may be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift.
• You have a valid CDL Class A or Class B License.
• Your driver's license has not been suspended or revoked in connection with a moving violation within the past three (3) years.
• You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You are able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You have the ability to work in tight spaces for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You will be required to work on/under trucks for an entire shift (8 to 12 hours) with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, including diagnosing mechanical issues and completing preventative maintenance.
• Work alongside experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required).
• Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems.
• Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor.

• Work Days: Wednesday - Saturday
• Start Time: 8:00 am
• End Time: 6:30 pm
