Job summary

PepsiCo in Fayetteville, TN, is seeking a skilled fleet mechanic to maintain and repair delivery vehicles, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance to keep drivers on the road. You will collaborate with experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and ensure vehicles are safe and reliable.

CDL is required for returning vehicles to the traffic center. You will manage parts inventory, bill parts and labor to work orders, and build strong vendor relationships for estimates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more with/without accommodation.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, and off shift.
• Driver's license not suspended for moving violations in past 3 years.
• Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, stretch; work in tight spaces.
• Will work on/under trucks for 8–12 hour shifts; CDL required for certain tasks.

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles to keep drivers safe and on the road delivering beloved brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos. Your technical skill and preventative work ensure vehicles are reliable and communities stay stocked.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, including diagnosing mechanical issues and completing preventative maintenance
• Work alongside experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required)
• Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems
• Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor
