Job summary

PepsiCo in Fayetteville, TN is seeking a diesel fleet technician to maintain and repair company vehicles used for distribution and delivery. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and assist in complex repairs on a fast-paced, on-the-go schedule.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 18 years old or older.
• May be required to work on weekends, holidays, and off shifts.
• You have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Your driver's license has not been suspended or revoked in the past 3 years related to moving violations.
• You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without accommodation.
• You can climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
• You will work on/under trucks for 8–12 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues and performing preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required).
• Manage parts inventory and charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems.
• Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor.

Minimum Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years of age or older
