Job summary

PepsiCo in Jonesboro, AR is seeking a full-time Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair PepsiCo fleet vehicles. You’ll diagnose mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support drivers to keep delivery routes on schedule.

The role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, climb and work in tight spaces, and a valid D10K certification along with a clean driving record. Start time 12:00 AM, 8:30 AM end; weekends possible and a $3,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• You are at least 21 years of age or older.
• You may be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift.
• You have a valid D10K Certification.
• Your driver's license has not been suspended or revoked in connection with a moving violation within the past three years.
• You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You can climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You have the ability to work in tight spaces for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You will be required to work on/under trucks for an entire shift (8 to 12 hours) with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, including diagnosing mechanical issues and completing preventative maintenance.
• Work alongside experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required).
• Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems.
• Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor.
