Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a fleet mechanic in Jonesboro, AR to maintain and repair company fleet vehicles, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance. You will work with seasoned technicians on complex repairs and help manage parts inventory.

Key requirements include a valid CDL Class A license, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and willingness to work 8–12 hour shifts from 4pm to 12:30am, Tuesday through Saturday. Sign-on bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 21 years old.
• May be required to work on weekends and holidays.
• Valid CDL Class A License is required.
• Driver's license must not be suspended or revoked for moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
• Ability to work in tight spaces for extended periods.
• Must work on/under trucks for an 8–12 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnose mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Work with experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required).
• Manage parts inventory and bill parts and labor to work orders in the provided systems.
• Build relationships with vendors for estimates on parts or outside labor.

Minimum Qualifications

• You are at least 21 years of age or older
• You may be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift
• You have a valid CDL Class A License
• Your driver's license has not been suspended or revoked in connection with a moving violation within the past three (3) years
• You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without a reasonable accommodation

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles to keep drivers safe and on the road delivering beloved brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos. Your technical skill and preventative work ensure vehicles are reliable and communities stay stocked.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, including diagnosing mechanical issues and completing preventative maintenance
• Work alongside experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting

• Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems
• Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor
