Job summary

Sysco is seeking a fleet technician in Orlando, FL to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on tractors, trailers, and related equipment to keep vehicles safe and reliable.

Hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with pay between $25.00 and $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. A high school diploma and 2-year heavy‑duty truck training are required, along with annual inspector certification and ASE credentials.

• 2-year heavy-duty truck technical training.
• Annual Inspector Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles to maximize safety and reliability.
• Perform quality maintenance inspections and repairs on fleet equipment per company methods.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications across engine, drive-line and electrical systems.
• Document all work on Work Orders using SAP in a timely and accurate manner.
