Job summary

WeDriveU in Boston, MA is seeking a skilled fleet mechanic to maintain and repair our campus shuttle and fleet vehicles. The role involves working Sunday through Thursday, 4:00pm–12:30am, performing routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, and advising on unsafe conditions to keep equipment safe and reliable.

You will join a team that values hands-on problem solving, practical tool use, and a commitment to safe, efficient transportation.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years truck or automotive repair experience.
• Minimum recommended hand tools for Class II Mechanic.
• High school graduate or equivalent education, training and experience.
• Ideally have previous fleet experience and are familiar with gasoline engine systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and brings any unsafe practices or conditions to the attention of supervisor.
• Records time and materials used for each assignment.
• Provides automotive repair and maintenance assistance to technical staff as assigned.
• Advises Lead Technician of unsafe maintenance conditions or practices and/or vehicle abuse.
