Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Technician in the United States to service and repair diesel and gasoline engines across a large public/private fleet. You will perform diagnostics, inspections, and repairs to keep buses and shuttle vehicles safe and reliable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of fleet maintenance experience on heavy diesel engines.
• Experience with diesel and gasoline engines in large fleet environments.
• Proficiency with computerized diagnostics.
• Strong knowledge of shop computer systems and basic budgeting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses malfunctions and performs vehicle repairs per qualification level.
• Tests drives vehicles to confirm repairs.
• Schedules inspections and approvals for major repairs.
• Maintains a safe, clean, compliant work area.
• Identifies additional maintenance needs and notifies Lead Technician.
• Records time, parts, and repairs accurately.
• Advises on unsafe conditions and vehicle abuse.
• Performs road calls and on-the-road repairs as assigned.
