POSITION PURPOSE / IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION

Our ideal candidate will be a certified and experienced Emergency Vehicle Technician, capable of maintaining and repairing specialized emergency service vehicles to ensure peak operational performance and safety. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $79,580.80 to $117,748.80 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Levels and Responsibilities

1. Fleet Technician I: Responsible for maintenance and repair of automotive equipment, inspecting, servicing, and repairing cars, trucks, construction equipment, emergency, and other automotive-related equipment. Work under general supervision, may require overtime and on-call during emergencies. Safety-sensitive position.
2. Fleet Technician II and III: Skilled journeyman roles responsible for more complex mechanical work, including servicing and repairing heavy-duty trucks and specialized vehicles. Work independently, may be assigned tasks orally or via work orders, and require overtime and emergency on-call. Safety-sensitive position.
3. Emergency Vehicle Technician I/II/III: Responsible for maintenance and repair of emergency response vehicles, working with outside service providers, providing recommendations on new equipment, and working overtime/on-call. Progression depends on certifications.
