Description

PAY: $89,000 - $109,000

JOB SUMMARY: The IT Help Desk Technicians are responsible for handling end user IT trouble tickets involving software and hardware issues. They ensure the health and uptime of end users' IT assets. This customer service/technical role requires patience and a problem-solving approach. Experience with Windows PCs, network printers, software troubleshooting, and configuration is required. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, and setup of IT equipment at Schriever SFB, CO.

Primary Duties
  • Operate and maintain government networked and standalone systems at various classification levels.
  • Maintain trouble ticket system and track customer feedback.
  • Provide first-line support for hardware and software issues.
  • Create, delete, and manage user accounts on classified networks.
  • Support help desk functions across Tier I, II, and III issues.
  • Support customer problem resolution via walk-up, phone, or email, tracking issues until resolution.
  • Coordinate with internal and external agencies for fault isolation, repairs, and service restoration.
  • Plan and execute technical refreshes of network computers.
  • Install, configure, and maintain systems; troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues.
  • Provide network support and perform application loading and troubleshooting.
  • Operate and coordinate the use of Delta 12 VTCs.

Relevant Experience: 6 years in IT technical support and computer maintenance.

Education/Certification: High School Diploma, IAT Level 2 Certification.

Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI
