PAY: $89,000 - $109,000

JOB SUMMARY: The IT Help Desk Technicians are responsible for handling end user IT trouble tickets related to software and hardware issues. They ensure the health and uptime of end users' IT assets. This customer service/technical role requires patience and a problem-solving attitude. Experience with Windows installation and troubleshooting, network printers, and general network troubleshooting is required. Responsibilities include setting up new PCs, troubleshooting, and configuration.

Location: Schriever SFB, CO.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Operate and maintain government networked and standalone systems at various classification levels.
  • Maintain a trouble ticket system and track customer feedback.
  • Provide first-line support for hardware and software issues.
  • Create and manage user accounts on classified networks, including NIPRNet.
  • Handle a range of IT issues (Tier I, II, III) and support customer inquiries via walk-up, phone, or email.
  • Coordinate with internal and external agencies for fault isolation, repairs, and service restoration.
  • Plan and execute technical refreshes of network computers, coordinating with Configuration Management.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Support network connectivity and perform application loading and troubleshooting.
  • Schedule and operate Delta 12 VTCs.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 6 years in IT technical support and computer maintenance.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School Diploma and IAT Level 2 Certification.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: TOP SECRET/SCI
