Job summary

PepsiCo in Rosenberg, TX is seeking a full-time fleet maintenance technician. You will maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnose issues, and perform preventative maintenance to keep drivers safe and on the road delivering Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A, ability to lift 50 pounds, and readiness to work 8–12 hour shifts on trucks. Shift typically 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more and work on trucks for long shifts.
• Able to work weekends/holidays as needed.
• No license suspensions in past 3 years due to moving violations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues and performing preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with experienced mechanics on complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center as needed.
• Manage parts inventory and bill labor to work orders.
• Build relationships with vendors for parts or outside labor.

• You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without a reasonable accommodation

• You have the ability to work in tight spaces for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You will be required to work on/under trucks for an entire shift (8 to 12 hours) with or without a reasonable accommodation

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, including diagnosing mechanical issues and completing preventative maintenance
• Work alongside experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required)
• Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems
• Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor
