Job summary

RiseMe is seeking an Assistant Fleet Technician to support advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of gas and diesel-powered assets, including fleet vehicles and equipment. The role requires coordinating preventive maintenance, using CMMS for work orders, and ensuring safe operation of the fleet under city policies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 3–5 years of automotive maintenance experience, with knowledge of engines, welding, and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or vocational training in automotive or diesel technology.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in automotive and equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of engine systems, welding, diagnostic tools, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on fleet vehicles.
• Use CMMS to create, assign, and close work orders and track maintenance history.
• Support fleet readiness for emergency operations and hurricane response.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities with shop staff.
