Job summary

Airgas is seeking a System Program Analyst for our Houston, TX facility. This hybrid role combines in-office collaboration (three days) with two days remote work, located in ZIP 77024.

You will oversee vehicle maintenance programs for a large private fleet, develop Fleet dashboards, and drive SAP/ERP based processes to improve safety and lifecycle costs. The ideal candidate has experience with Power BI, fleet management concepts, and logistics operations, plus a background in maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with SAP and/or ERP systems.
• Power BI dashboard creation and data visualization experience.
• Operational knowledge of tractors, trailers, or related commercial equipment.
• Familiarity with commercial fleet assets, transportation equipment, or logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of all activities related to the maintenance of vehicles in the distribution center in accordance with internal customer requirements, operating budget, schedules and requests issued by managers.
• Develop Fleet dashboard and Power Bi reports.
• Monitor the Canada transition to TMT, tablet rollouts, TMT Direct vs. Indirect time.
• Ensure reliability of vehicles, tankers, and customer installations through maintenance planning, supervision, and record-keeping.
• Coordinate manpower, manage spare parts, investigate accidents, control maintenance costs, and comply with regulations.
• Maintain equipment design and maintenance records, plan training for maintenance technicians, and manage budgets.
• Implement HSEQ standards and conduct audits of vehicles and subcontractors.
• Coordinate the procurement of all fleet according to the Capital Budget and National Guidelines.
• Monitor payables on all distribution vehicle reports and maintains vehicle listing.
• Evaluate and monitor operating expenses of the fleet at each location.
• Ensure accurate amount of stock based on demand and optimal travel routes for transportation.
