Job summary

Clackamas County seeks a Fleet Assistant to support fleet services by transporting vehicles, cleaning and scheduling, and performing inventory and supply tasks. You will assist staff with routine duties and help maintain accurate records in a busy public works environment.

Ideal candidates will have driving experience, familiarity with fleet services or warehouse logistics, and basic data-entry skills. This is an on-site role with a day shift and potential for growth within the Fleet Services

Qualifications

• Experience in roles where driving was essential.
• Experience in fleet services, inventory, or vehicle transport preferred.
• Experience with inventory control and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Transport vehicles and schedule/clean vehicles and equipment.
• Perform inventory and supply activities to support Fleet Services.
• Assist staff with routine tasks and data entry as needed.
• Maintain safety, accuracy and organization in yard and shop areas.
