Border International Trucks and Trailers in Las Cruces, NM seeks a Fleet Support Specialist to foster dealer and customer relationships, drive aftermarket sales, and grow key accounts with a proactive, team-focused approach.

The role emphasizes territory management, consultative selling, CRM updates, and collaboration with service and parts teams to deliver tailored solutions and reliable support across the field.

Qualifications

• 3 years of sales experience (Required).
• High School diploma (Required); College education (Preferred).
• Valid State Driver's License; must meet insurability standards (Required).
• Knowledge of dealer and fleet maintenance procedures (Preferred).
• Working knowledge of warranty policies (Preferred).
• Teamwork and respect in the department throughout the dealership (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with dealers and customers, supporting merchandising, orders, deliveries, advertising, promotions and training.
• Sell Aftermarket products including Parts, Service, and Technology items.
• Prospect for new accounts/referrals to provide leads for additional business.
• Develop, implement, and maintain account-specific growth strategies.
• Service existing accounts and discuss product features with clients.
• Update account profiles in CRM annually for contact information and sales potential.
• Obtain orders by explaining product benefits; relay orders to the sales desk.
• Promote products by developing discounts, seasonal offers, and other inducements.

• Obtains orders by explaining product benefits; finding ways to enhance floor space; reviewing business plans; analyzing sales volume; introducing new products; relays the order to the sales desk.
• Promotes products by developing discounts, seasonal offers, and other specific inducements.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of sales experience (Required).
• High School diploma (Required)/College Education (Preferred).
• Valid State Driver's License; must meet insurability standards (Required).
• Knowledge of dealer and fleet maintenance procedures and systems (Preferred).
• Working knowledge of International and supplier/vendor warranty policies (Preferred).
• Strive for respect and teamwork in the department throughout the dealership (Preferred).
