Avomo, the autonomous vehicle arm of Moove Cars, seeks a Fleet Supervisor to support depot throughput and asset velocity. The role involves strategic vehicle delegation and real-time shop floor management to maximize RO capability and meet KPIs.
Weekend hours are required, with responsibilities spanning delegation, throughput, and cross-team coordination. The ideal candidate has proven fleet operations experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with fleet management
Please Note: The schedule for this role includes weekends. Hours are 9:00pm-5:30am
Position Objective: The Fleet Supervisor is the secondary facilitator of depot through put and asset velocity. This role is responsible for the strategic delegation of vehicles and the real-time management of shop floor logistics to maximize RO Capability, maintain shop integrity, and meet key performance metrics and standards set by the Foreman and FDR Manager. The Fleet Supervisor utilizes critical thinking and executive decision-making to navigate operational bottlenecks, ensuring the fleet meets all availability targets.
Operational Delegation: Assign work orders to technicians based on individual capabilities and depot priorities to ensure optimal "Path-to-Service" velocity.
Throughput Management: Actively monitor the shop floor to identify and resolve "stagnant" assets, reallocating resources as needed to maintain high output.
Metric Accountability: Maintain constant visibility of RO Capability and other key performance indicators (KPIs); provide regular status updates to leadership.
Administrative Continuity: Serve as the primary operational backup in the absence of the Shop Foreman, ensuring leadership presence remains constant on the floor.
Inter-Team Coordination: Collaborate with the RO team and field operations to synchronize the transition of vehicles from "Repair" to "Burn-In" and "In-Service" status.
