Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking a Software Systems Administrator to support administration, maintenance, security, and continuous improvement of business software systems.

This role focuses on fleet management and related systems, partnering with IT and stakeholders to ensure reliability and data integrity. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot issues, manage user access, and contribute to reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

• General understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, hardware components, data management, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Knowledge of software administration principles and user access management.
• Experience with SaaS applications and software security best practices is preferred.
• Experience supporting software integrations and reporting tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of business software systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to support upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance activities.
• Monitor software performance and reliability to ensure efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, access, and functionality issues.
• Support user account administration, security roles, permissions, and access controls.
• Conduct user access reviews and audits to support security and compliance initiatives.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system administration and processes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in software performance and user experience.
