FedEx Freight is seeking a general maintenance technician to assist with shop duties and provide timely upkeep for tractors, trailers, and other equipment. Under supervision, you will help with inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and accurate documentation to ensure a safe, reliable fleet.

This entry-level role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and basic computer skills.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willing to be educated on proper use of lifting devices.
• Able to frequently lift components weighing approx. 110 pounds with assistance.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet.
• Set up jobs and maintain shop equipment.
• Prepare electronic and manual records and reports.
• Assist with safety inspections and document the work.
• Move parts to/from job site and install as directed.
• Support fleet maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Use power and hand tools as instructed by leadership.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
