Job summary

Mechanics Hub in Orlando, FL is seeking a hands-on Fleet Shop Manager to lead a 1,621-truck maintenance operation. You will manage three technicians, oversee PM and corrective work, and maintain supplier relationships across Florida, with occasional travel to Jacksonville.

The role requires strong decision‑making, ASE heavy‑duty certifications, a CDL or willingness to obtain one, and a proven track record in diagnostics, quality control, and mentoring shop staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in shop foreman or fleet maintenance leadership.
• ASE certifications relevant to heavy‑duty trucks.
• CDL or willingness to obtain with company support.
• Hands-on diagnostic work and mentoring technicians.
• Knowledge of truck systems including driveline, brakes, suspension, electrical.
• Ability to travel to Jacksonville and other FL sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for a 1,621-truck fleet.
• Manage three technicians and ensure quality control.
• Develop and maintain supplier and dealership relationships across Florida.
• Hands-on involvement with diagnostics and wrench work.
• Lead PM planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
