Job summary

Premier Edge Concrete Solutions in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Equipment and Shop Coordinator who can own our equipment, fleet, trailers, and shop to keep crews moving every day. This onsite, full-time role is ideal for someone with hands-on shop experience who understands our floor coating workflows.

You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect vehicles, organize tools, receive deliveries, and even step into Crew Lead duties when extra leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate equipment and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
• Reliable leadership to support crews and keep jobs moving.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service on grinders, vacuums, generators, compressors, and mixers.
• Inspect trucks and trailers for tire wear, lights, brakes, fluids, and safety equipment, and coordinate outside repairs and vendor relationships when needed.
• Organize the shop and tools so every piece of equipment has a designated spot.
• Receive deliveries and stage materials and parts for upcoming jobs.
• Step into a Crew Lead role on job sites when crews need extra leadership or support.
