Job summary

Bird is seeking a Shift Lead in Columbus, OH to manage daily routes for Operations Specialists, oversee scooter deployment and repairs, and ensure the Service Center runs efficiently.

You must have 2+ years in leadership, be 21+, hold a valid driver’s license, and be available for odd hours and weekends. You’ll drive or move scooters up to 90 lbs and coordinate with the team using mobile tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience required.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Must be 21 years or older with at least two years of driving experience.
• Weekend availability and ability to work odd hours.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and smartphone with apps.

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule daily routes for the Operations Specialists.
• Report all deployed and/or picked up scooters on a shift.
• Facilitate coordination and upkeep of scooters.
• Perform all responsibilities of an Operations Specialist when needed.
• Document and report performance concerns to the Operations Lead.
• Load, drive, and unload up to 90 lbs between warehouse and local area.
