Job summary

Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District 2021 is seeking a Fleet Services leader to plan, manage and organize the Fleet Services department activities. You’ll implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to optimize reliability and minimize life cycle costs for the district’s fleet assets.

You will also evaluate outsourcing needs, administer maintenance contracts, manage the department budget, and drive procurement of fleet equipment across budget centers.

Qualifications

• Five years of fleet maintenance management experience, including three years of staff supervision.
• Associate degree or equivalent in automotive technology or related field.
• Valid driver’s license per district policy.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day activities of the fleet services staff.
• Develops and implements departmental goals aligned with Maintenance Services.
• Oversees maintenance and repair of fleet equipment including vehicles, generators and related gear.
• Coordinates outsourcing, quotes, and contracts for maintenance and repairs.
• Creates and manages the operating expense budget for the Fleet Services department.
