Job summary

Transdev in Grayslake, IL is seeking a Utility Worker/Service Employee to perform basic vehicle servicing duties while prioritizing safety and excellent customer service. Responsibilities include cleaning fleet vehicles, fueling buses, logging fluids, minor shop duties, and reporting maintenance issues.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and must pass DOT drug testing where applicable.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with safety focus.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle servicing tasks.
• Capable of following DOT-related requirements when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles – interior and exterior.
• Drive, maneuver, and park vehicles.
• Fuel buses, replenish fluids, and log all fluids.
• Download drive cameras and fare boxes.
• Perform light maintenance on shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Other duties as required.
