Job summary

Transdev in El Centro, CA is seeking a part-time Utility Worker/Service Employee to keep fleet vehicles clean and ready for service. The role emphasizes customer service and safety while performing basic servicing tasks on buses.

The position requires a valid driver's license and adherence to DOT regulations. The employee will work in a hands-on environment, with responsibilities spanning fueling, fluid checks, light maintenance, and documenting activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior.
• Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles.
• Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids.
• Downloading drive cameras & probes fare boxes.
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Other duties as required.
