Job summary

Transdev in Grayslake, IL is seeking a Utility Worker/Service Employee to perform basic vehicle servicing duties while prioritizing safety and excellent customer service. Responsibilities include cleaning fleet vehicles, fueling buses, logging fluids, minor shop duties, and reporting maintenance issues.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and must pass DOT drug testing where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles – interior and exterior.
• Drive, maneuver, and park vehicles.
• Fuel buses, replenish fluids, and log all fluids.
• Download drive cameras and fare boxes.
• Perform light maintenance on shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Other duties as required.

Transdev in Grayslake, Il is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee. The Utility Worker/Service Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Non-CBA Position:

Competitive compensation package of minimum $18.50 / hour – Maximum $23.00 / hour.

Benefits include:

• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior
• Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles
• Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids
• Downloading drive cameras & probes fare boxes
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas,fuelingstations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor
• Other duties asrequired.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
• Subject toa DOTdrug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Workenvironment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
