Job summary

Blackwell Miami Inc. in Fort Lauderdale seeks a driven hunter to bring in local fleet accounts. You’ll prospect South Florida delivery, municipal, and utility fleets, meet with decision-makers, present proposals, and close deals.

You’ll maintain a real pipeline and hand off won jobs to the ops team. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; you’ll work from our Fort Lauderdale location and develop new business in the local market.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside sales or B2B business development.
• Comfortable with cold calling and in-person prospecting.
• Based in Fort Lauderdale or willing to be based in the area.

• Build and manage a target list of medium to large fleets needing maintenance/repair services.
• Run the full sales cycle: outreach, meetings, proposals, closing, handoff to operations.

About us

We're a fleet vehicle maintenance and repair shop based in Fort Lauderdale, plus a full-service body shop. This role is entirely focused on bringing in new fleet accounts.

We're looking for a hunter who'll go out and bring in new local fleet accounts from scratch.

What you'll do

• Prospect and cold-outreach South Florida companies that run their own vehicle fleets — delivery/courier, HVAC/plumbing/electrical, municipal or utility fleets, and similar
• Build and work a target list of medium to large fleets that need a maintenance and repair partner
• Run the full sales cycle: outreach, meetings, proposals, closing, and handoff to our ops team
• Keep a real pipeline and report on it weekly

What we're looking for

• Proven outside sales or B2B business development experience; fleet/automotive/industrial services experience a plus
• Comfortable with cold calling and in-person prospecting — this is a hunting role
• Strong closer, self-starter, minimal oversight needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Based in or willing to be based in the Fort Lauderdale area
