Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking a Safety Inspection Technician to support drivers with daily post-trip and safety inspections, conduct vehicle checks in Safety Lane and PMs, and discuss preventative maintenance with technicians. The role requires basic computer skills, adherence to OSHA standards, and strong reliability.

The position emphasizes teamwork with drivers and A/B technicians, ongoing route observations, and accurate paperwork to ensure clean, safe operations across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Assists drivers with Pre/Post trip procedures.
• Identifies visible repairs on vehicles (lights, mirrors, leaks, body damage).
• Performs tire inspections and checks air pressure.
• Uses basic computer skills as required.

Responsibilities

• Aid drivers in completing the daily Post trip and vehicle safety inspection process.
• Conducts safety checks on vehicles during Safety Lane and PMs.
• Communicates with A & B technicians/drivers about vehicle issues and preventative techniques.
• Completes all required paperwork/data entry as needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Maintains high standard of Ethics and Dependability.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
• On occasion, assists division by performing route observations and discusses safety issues with drivers and helpers.
