Job summary

Atlas Van Lines is seeking a detail‑oriented Fleet Safety Assistant in Evansville, IN to support safety programs and regulatory compliance. You will monitor documentation, coordinate with agents and van operators, and help ensure accurate, timely information across internal systems.

This role emphasizes data handling, customer service, and adherence to procedures in a structured, compliance-driven environment, with opportunities to grow within our safety and logistics teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with data and documentation.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal systems.
• Ability to follow established procedures and manage routine tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and responsive customer service to department team members, agents, and van operators.
• Assist with reviewing information in safety program portals and help confirm required communications have been received and standards are being followed.
• Apply basic knowledge of applicable FMCSRs when performing assigned tasks.
• Support team members with daily safety and compliance-related activities as needed.
• Assist with tracking and maintaining accurate records, files, and documentation.
• Demonstrate flexibility by helping with a variety of tasks to support department operations.
