Job summary

Walmart Transportation seeks an Area Manager, Fleet Safety to uphold high safety standards and support driver training across our transportation offices. You’ll lead efforts in DOT compliance, safety program implementation, and data-driven improvements to performance.

You will analyze safety data, coach drivers, and design protocols to reduce incidents, leveraging visualization tools to share insights with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant safety/rail/transport field.
• 2+ years of safety experience within supply chain, retail, or related area.
• Experience applying safety management practices in transportation environments.

Responsibilities

• Support Walmart transportation offices in fleet safety operations.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Provide driver training and coaching to enhance performance and safety.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
• Leverage data to identify root causes of safety issues and apply solutions.
• Create safety dashboards for stakeholders using data visualization.
