Job summary

Global Medical Response offers Pro Auto Care and Collision a full service mechanical repair and maintenance shop for retail and fleet customers. The General Service Technician will perform high quality work, including oil changes and part replacements, while following standard procedures.

The role requires a valid driver's license, solid shop knowledge, and a customer-service mindset. Wage range is $18–$20 per hour, based on credentials and experience, with opportunities for growth as

Qualifications

• Must be a highly motivated team player with attention to detail.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Customer service focus.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of standard shop equipment and tools.
• l-CAR or other certifications a plus.
• Physical abilities to walk, stand, and lift as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality work in a timely manner per work orders.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Complete Level I Inspection per procedures.
• Drive safely to pick up parts or transport customers/vehicles.
• Keep work areas clean at all times.
• Follow production schedule and meet deadlines.
• Communicate with Service Writer about status and priorities.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform high quality work in a timely manner as assigned and according to work orders while adheringto automotive industry standards.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters
• Complete our Level I Inspection and follow through according to company procedures.
• Drive responsibly and follow laws while picking up parts, transporting customers and/or theirvehicles.
• Keep work areas clean at all times and other areas as needed or requested.
• Put Used Tires and Batteries in designated places immediately after work is done.
• Work in harmony with the production schedule including meeting deadlines.
• Communicate with Service Writer regarding when you are In and out, priority of tasks,delegation of assignments.

Job Requirements
