Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Mechanic in the Baltimore, MD area. The role involves retrieving vehicles for service or repair to minimize downtime and ensure mechanically sound, well-presented vehicles for crews and patients.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, 2 years of relevant experience, and ASE certifications (preferred within the first year). Applicants should be ready to work in a fast-paced environment with documentation in a maintenance system.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper / Associate experience.
• 2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive series). Preferably Brake and Steering / Suspension.
• MACS AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification.
• ASE Certification required within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Mechanic Intermediate performs mechanical and electrical repairs per policies and procedures.
• Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
• Utilizes parts computer program to locate needed parts and verify correct application.
• Mechanic Intermediate uses maintenance database to document all completed tasks / job assignments.

Mechanic (Baltimore, M.D)

• $30.00 per hour or more based on experience! annualized starting compensation range.
• Total annualized compensation depends on qualifications, and experience.

Position Summary: The Mechanic role is responsible for retrieving vehicles due for service or repair, with the goal of reducing down time and increasing the quality and delivery of our services to the crews and our patients. The delivered produit is a clean, mechanically sound vehicle inside and out. It is important that the product produced is maintained to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

• Mechanic Intermediateperforms mechanical and electrical repairs per policies and procedures.
• Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field whenrequested.

MinimumRequiredQualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent education.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.

ACE/MAX ACE

Preferred ASE, HOWEVER, must be obtained within the firsts year of employment.
