Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a Rail Flaw Detection Operations professional to ensure the reliability and uptime of the RFD fleet and inspection systems. You will act as a technical bridge among Operations, Engineering, Aftermarket Services, and customers to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement in fleet performance.

The role focuses on proactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and implementing corrective actions to meet safety and regulatory standards, while supporting ultrasonic

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Fleet Management, Railroad Operations, or related technical field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in fleet operations, maintenance management, railroad operations, NDT, or related technical environment.
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and coordinating equipment repairs and inspections.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, computer, and network systems.
• Experience analyzing operational or maintenance data to improve equipment reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure DOT regulations compliance, including Hours of Service (HOS) requirements.
• Maintain fleet uptime, reliability, and readiness across rail inspection assets.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and coordinate inspections, repairs, and upgrades.
• Maintain fleet records, certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
