Job summary

Waste Pro in South Carolina is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager to plan, organize, and supervise the division's maintenance staff and fleet support, ensuring reliability, safety, and cost-effective performance.

The manager will work with the Regional Maintenance Manager and Operations teams to ensure fleet condition, equipment reliability, and compliance with EPA, DOT, OSHA, and other regulations. Responsibilities include budgeting, data reporting, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams and managing fleet operations.
• Knowledge of DVIRs, CDL basics, and driver safety requirements.
• Strong budgeting and data reporting for maintenance performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage hiring, training, coaching, and performance of maintenance staff.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs and inspections.
• Monitor parts inventory, repairs, and safety performance.
• Coordinate vehicle procurement, tool purchases, and budget adherence.
• Ensure EPA/DOT/OSHA compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Provide hands-on maintenance assistance as needed.
