Qualifications

• Experience performing preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on trailers/tractors or similar heavy equipment.
• Working knowledge of brake systems (air/ABS/disc) and tire service.
• Ability to follow DOT guidelines and shop safety procedures consistently.
• Skill in diagnosing needs, selecting parts, and documenting work accurately in work orders/logs.

Responsibilities

• Keep Walmart Transportation moving by ensuring our fleet is safe, reliable, and road-ready.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Walmart equipment—including trailers, tractors, yard trucks, and shop/service vehicles.
• Follow company policies and DOT guidelines and communicate progress clearly.
